The objectives of the Positive Council

The Positive Council aims to improve the lives of people with HIV. This includes improving the legal situation, optimizing medical care, eliminating legal or social disadvantages and promoting scientific research into HIV/Aids. The Positive Council networks with other organizations in Switzerland and abroad.

The tasks of the Positive Council

Each year, the Positive Council defines one focus area for its lobbying, patient expertise and networking activities.

It makes its specialist skills available to partners in politics, industry and other organizations, works with the Swiss cohort study and represents the interests of people with HIV to service providers. The Positive Council supports research programmes and clinical trials and contributes to the development or improvement of medicines.

The Positive Council networks with other national and international organizations.
